The first batch of 94 nurses (all female) had successfully completed the Specialized Nursing Courses in different specialties. 77 of them (82%) had secured job as Specialized Nurses within two months of completion of the course. The second batch of 120 nurses are undergoing the courses.

Nurses’ Role in Post-Chemotherapy Patient Care

Kumudini Nursing College organized a workshop on “Nurses’ Role in Post-Chemotherapy Patient Care” on 12 November 2025. The session was moderated by Ms. Urbee Chakma and featured insightful discussions led by distinguished guests including Dr. Andrew Robert Branagan from Harvard Medical School, USA. The workshop emphasized the vital contribution of nurses in managing post-chemotherapy care, addressing patient needs, and promoting holistic recovery. Faculty members, oncology specialists, and nursing students actively participated, making the session interactive and enriching.
